Tiote one of four changes in confirmed Newcastle team v West Brom
The Newcastle team v West Brom has four changes from the one that faced Everton.
Ayoze Perez is once again dropped as Steve McClaren changes direction totally once again, Mitrovic back in as a sole striker with Wijnaldum behind him.
Rolando Aarons continues at left-back after a disastrous second half at Goodison Park on Wednesday, whilst Cheick Tiote replaces new signiugs Henri Saivet in midfield.
Steven Taylor is also given his chance with Chancel Mbemba ruled out for some time.
Obviously Kevin Mbabu wasn’t fit enough to return but maybe Steve McClaren is going out of his way to show the weakness of the squad with three youngsters named as subs, whilst Yoan Goffran has mysteriously disappeared from the bench.
With that seemingly also the case with Emmanuel Riviere who is nowhere to be seen.
Newcastle starting 11
Elliot, Janmaat, Coloccini, Taylor, Aarons, Sissoko, Tiote, Shelvey, Townsend, Wijnaldum, Mitrovic
On the bench
Darlow, Gibson, Williams, Barlaser, Saivet, Perez, Doumbia,
