Good luck to Lee Clark in his latest managerial role.

The Geordie midielder played for Newcastle in two spells and since hanging up his boots has taken on some tough assignments.

After doing well at Huddersfield, Lee Clark took over at basket case clubs Birmingham and Blackpool both with sever problems behind the scenes.

However, Monday morning sees Clarkie accept a new challenge north of the border, with Lee Clark confirmed as the new manager of Kilmarnock on a three and a half year deal.

The 43 year old takes over from Gary Locke as boss at Rugby Park and will be introduced to the media this morning.

Lee McCulloch will remain as assistant manager, he was in charge at the weekend as  Kilmarnock beat Motherwell 2-0 and climbed above their rivaks into tenth place (of twelve) in the Scottish Premiership.
