Harry Redknapp has picked his top eleven players of the weekend, as well as the top manager.
Not surprisingly, the former Spurs boss’ team is heavily influenced by Leicester City.
The Foxes have three players; Kante, Huth and Mahrez, included after the stunning win at Manchester City, though you couldn’t have argued if they’d included all 11 Leicester starters, such was the complete nature of their display.
Claudio Ranieri was also not surprisingly Harry Redknapp’s choice as the top manager, after he co-ordinated the dramatic win that has secured Leicester now as favourites to win the Premier League.
Picking his team for The Telegraph, Redknapp has also included one of Newcastle’s January signings.
Jonjo Shelvey was once again instrumental in Newcastle beating West Brom, just as he was the previous home game against West Ham.
Showing an excellent range of passing, including the one that set Aleksandar Mitrovic up for his goal, Shelvey has arguably already helped Newcastle to anything from an extra four to six points since his recent arrival.
You certainly couldn’t have seen Newcastle beating West Ham if it hadn’t been for the former Swansea player and whilst West Brom were abysmal, Newcastle have previously struggled to create chances throughout the first half of the season.
Jonjo Shelvey also currently tops (though three other players are within 0.2 points of him) our interactive player ratings voted by fans, go HERE to view them and add your own marks for each player.
