The remaining Newcastle v Sunderland tickets for the 20 March derby will go on sale tomorrow (Monday).

Tickets will go on sale at 10am and it is only members (and season ticket holders who are automatically charged for a membership each season) who are eligible to buy them.

The sale of home tickets will go ahead two weeks after Sunderland announced details of the sale of the away allocation, these were sold out last Tuesday (23 February).

The delayed sale is down to Newcastle attempting to sell as many five game packages as possible, a deal which included a Sunderland ticket and all the rest of Newcastle’s remaining home games, apart from the Manchester City match which was due to be played today but is yet to be rescheduled.

Fans have/had until 9am tomorrow to buy one of those five game deals.

Despite leaving the home sale to only 20 days before the derby, Newcastle are guaranteed to have their first sellout at St James Park since Everton visited in December 2014 for what turned out to be Alan Pardew‘s last game (wonder how he is getting on at the moment…?).
