The Newcastle v Watford player ratings were at odds with Steve McClaren’s reading of the game.
The Head Coach talked of United dominating the game and Watford hardly having a kick, yet the two top rated Newcastle players (as at noon on Tuesday 12 January) were keeper Rob Elliot (5.7) and central defender Chancel Mbemba 5.4).
The recalled Kevin Mbabu fared next best in third with a 4.9 out of 10 rating from fans.
At the other end of the spectrum, of the starting eleven it was Dummett (2.9), Coloccini (3.1) and Mitrovic (3.0) who were picked out for all the wrong reasons.
