The Newcastle match ratings v Watford.

Jonathan covered the match at Watford on Saturday for us and you can read his full match report here.

Here also are his Newcastle match ratings v Watford for each NUFC player and what each ‘contributed’.

Rob Elliott – 7

Not at fault for the goal, one of the few Newcastle players you would be happy to meet on the street and say hello to.

Daryl Janmaat – 6

Got forward plenty and offered something positive today.

Chancel Mbemba – 7

Always looks calm and composed.

Fabricio Coloccini – 5

Not much of a captain from what I can see.

Paul Dummett – 5

Tries his best.

Kevin Mbabu – 8

Really positive, had Nyom worried numerous times in the first half and it was HARSH of McClaren to bring him off after 50 minutes.

Chieck Tiote – 5

Looked out of depth by himself in the centre of the park at times.

Moussa Sissoko – 6

Good when he is bombing forward but it is players like him that are part of the problem at nufc.

Gini Wijnaldum – 3

One of our best players but quite often doesn’t contribute anything to the game.

Ayoze Perez – 5

Hit a bad patch recently, not getting involved, and starting to fling his arms around a lot more.

Alexandr Mitrovic – 3

Rubbish today.

 Siem De Jong – 0

What’s the point?

Jamaal Lascelles – 3

I still get messages from Nottingham Forest fans who can’t believe we signed him.

Florian Thauvin – 3

Hasn’t been given a ‘proper’ opportunity but let’s be honest, we haven’t seen anything at all from him that looks promising. Maybe it wont be long before he is taking his Tuxedo and Louis Vuitton washbag back to France.
