Nobody will forget Temuri Ketsbaia taking out his frustrations on an advertising hoarding after scoring for Newcastle United.
Maybe inspired by that image/memory, Aleksandar Mitrovic tried something similar at the Gallowgate End after scoring against Manchester United last week.
Spare a thought though for Andrea Cocco.
The 29 year old Italian striker scored 20 goals last season for Vicenza in Serie B, before joining Pescara in the summer.
Not having the best of times he still hadn’t scored in the league in almost six months of football.
Last Saturday with the scores level, promotion hopefuls Pescara (3rd in the table) at home to Livorno and they get a penalty in the 66th minute.
The ball is handed to Andrea Cocco and the weight of expectation is on his shoulders.
He runs up and…scores!
Pescara are ahead and Cocco has just scored his first goal of the season and for his club.
He turns away to celebrate and just look at what happens next…!
Here’s footage of Pescara’s Andrea Cocco literally putting his foot in it! Have you ever seen anything like it? pic.twitter.com/Yni0z65DmS
