After the final whistle at St James Park on Sunday afternoon, we asked you for your Newcastle v Liverpool player ratings.
Supporters rated all 14 players (with the exception of late sub Florian Thauvin which the automated stats system failed to pick up) used and from that there is generated the overall supporter marks for every player.
Your man of the match (fan ratings as at 2pm on Monday afternoon – see below) predictably had match winner Gini Wijnaldum in top spot, with a rating of 8.6 out of 10.
As for the rest of the starting eleven, supporters seemed to divide them almost equally between having done just ok and then those who had played above average.
Of those who were seen to have lifted their games, there was Coloccini (7.3), Janmaat (7.5), Mbemba (7.5), Anita (7.7) and Sissoko (7.3).
In the doing ok category we had Elliot (6.7), Dummett (6.7), Colback (6.6), de Jong (6.9) and Cisse (6.9).
With Spurs up next, it is likely we’ll need a few more in that lifting their games category, if Newcastle are to come away with anything from White Hart Lane.
Still, as Sunday shows, pure hard work can sometimes take you an awful long way.
