Newcastle are lining up a January transfer window move for Victor Camarasa according to reports today.

With the window only just over two weeks away, United are said to have had the 21 year old midfielder watched in La Liga and are interested in making an offer, according to The Sun.

The Levante player has made 15 league appearances this season and despite his club ending up bottom of the league, Victor Camarasa has been getting favourable reviews and was given his first chance playing for Spain’s Under 21s last month.

The midfielder has scored two goals in his 15 La Liga appearances this campaign and it was last season when he established himself in the first team.

Appearing 24 times in La Liga and scoring two goals, Victor Camarasa helped his club to a more than respectable 10th place finish in the league last season.

His last goal this season was when he earned a point for his side with an equaliser against Jonas Guiterrez and Deportivo in early November.

Stoke City are also credited with interest in the 21 year old.
