With the January transfer window only days away, Ayoze Perez has confirmed that at least three other clubs are interested in buying him.
The Newcastle striker says that Manchester United, Tottenham and a so far unnamed Spanish club, are all wanting to secure his services.
Perez describes the interest in him as ‘very satisfying’ as it shows the progress he is making, however he insists that his ‘place is in Newcastle’.
The Newcastle striker was talking to Radio Club Tenerife and said that he is no playing in the best league in the world and it is where he always wanted to play.
Ayoze Perez revealed that he usually goes to the gym every afternoon after training, as he knows he needs to work on his strength to help him compete.
Whilst it is good to hear the young striker say that he sees his future, at least in the short-term, at Newcastle, many fans worry about Steve McClaren leaving him out on a number of occasions, despite him clearly being one of Newcastle’s best players.

Best league in the world:
“I always loved (the Premier League) and I was always following on television…. It is the best league in the world, you end up adapting to play. “
The level of players in the Premier League:
“Pedro, Silva, de Bruyne, Rooney … every game you share a pitch with players of the highest level.”
“Old Trafford in Manchester is very nice, also Arsenal, Manchester City and ours (St James Park) of course”.
Physical challenge of Premier League;
“We must take care to live and prepare for football and you need to strengthen your weaknesses, after training usually go to the gym as you have to be physically ready to compete.
“I am very grateful and I remember how it all began (at CD Tenerife).”
