Spurs fan Alan Sugar saw the final outcome of today’s match long before the final whistle.

With Tottenham ahead and seemingly in command, the club’s former owner could see Newcastle were getting back into the game and the home side were dropping off the pace.

Using his Twitter account, Alan Sugar made public his worries and then next thing you know it was 1-1.

He thinks failing to finish off teams has been Tottenham’s big failing this season and as the game went into the final stages he foresaw what was going to happen.

Alan Sugar saying ‘will be lucky to get a draw now’ and so it proved with Ayoze Perez’ dramatic late winner.

Definitey a game of two halves, or maybe more accurately, the first hour and then the last half hour once Ayoze Perez came on.

Alan Sugar on Twitter:

“Come on Spurs you need to up the pace. You are letting them play.”

“Told you they are letting them play 1-1.”

“How many times are we going to give up a lead.  It’s the same old story.”

“We can’t hold the ball  in the midfield.”

“Problem this season we can’t finish off the other team.”

“Will be lucky to get a draw now. Disappointed  we can’t win a game.”

“That’s it 1-2 well deserved Newcastle.”

“It’s mid December and the traditional slide down the league for Spurs start now.”
