After the final whistle at Selhurst Park on Saturday afternoon, we asked you for your Newcastle v Crystal Palace player ratings.
Supporters rated all 14 players used and from that there is generated the overall supporter marks for every player.
Your man of the match (fan ratings as at 11am on Monday morning – see below) was a clear ‘winner’ of sorts….
Papiss Cisse scored the consolation goal and had another shot blocked, plus a few tidy bits of hold-up play, which compared to most of the team was (relatively!) impressive stuff.
The Senegalese striker’s rating of 3.6 out of 10 is still shocking of course, though Rob Elliot (3.1) was the only other player to even reach 3.0 or higher.
Competition at the real depths was intense, with our ‘leader’, Fabricio Coloccini (1.6), just edging iut Paul Dummett and Moussa Sissoko, who both rated 1.7.
A day when nobody saw their stock rise and important to realise as well that our ratings system starts at 1 and not 0 when fans are choosing their ratings, otherwise no doubt the team ratings would have sunk even lower for many people.
Roll on Liverpool and Tottenham…
