Paul Dummett has capped a return to first team football at Newcastle, with the Welsh Geordie one of eight international call-ups.

The Geordie defender made his first appearance for Wales back in June 2014 against Holland and is in the Welsh squad to face the same opponents a week on Friday (13 November).

In the Netherlands squad, Newcastle have Janmaat, Anita and Wijnaldum all involved, they also play against Germany a week on Tuesday (17 November).

Chancel Mbemba is included in the DR Congo squad to play Burundi but Papiss Cisse has once again being overlooked for Senegal.

Both Adam Armstrong and Freddie Woodman have been called up for England Under 19s, whilst Alex Gilliead is named in the England Under 20s.

France and Serbia are yet to name their squads but Sissoko and Mitrovic look sure to be included, whilst Cheick Tiote may get a recall by Ivory Coast now he is ‘fit’ again.

So eight call-ups so far and another three possibles.

Fingers crossed we don’t have any more Tim Krul type of surprises in this latest unnecessary round of internationals.
