Both Newcastle United and Arsenal are watching winger Gokhan Tore ahead of a potential January bid.
The Besiktas winger has started the season in great form and over in Turkey, Fanatik report that the two English clubs have had the player watched in recent matches.
The 23 year old was born in Germany but plays his international football for Turkey, having already racked up 24 caps.
In six matches so far this season, Tore has scored once in the league and provided five assists, helping Besiktas to currently top the table.
The winger scored on Thursday night in the Europa League as the Turkish club drew 1-1 with Sporting Lisbon.
Gokhan Tore can also play as an attacking midfielder and has already had a number of clubs.
Coming through the youth ranks at Bayer Leverkusen he was picked up by Chelsea but never made it to the first team, though he was an unused sub a number of times.
At the age of 19 the winger moved on to Hamburg for around £200,00 in 2011 before later moves to Rubin Kazan and then Besiktas for around £3m in summer 2014 after an initial loan period.
Last season saw Gokhan Tore step up a level and he scored nine goals and supplied 11 assists.
In the recent summer window Atletico Madrid made an offer for the player that was rejected, with the club making clear that they were looking for 20m euros (approx £14m) before they would consider letting him go.
Recent days have seen claims in the local morth east press saying that Newcastle intend to buy again in the upcoming January window.
