On Wednesday, ticket availability for the Crystal Palace v Newcastle game was said to be ‘extremely limited’ by the Palace official website.

Less than 24 hours later, the match at Selhurst Park has been confirmed as a sell-out for home fans.

The game is still over 7 weeks away and will be played on Saturday 28 November.

Earlier today the latest batch of live tv games were announced but the second reunion with Alan Pardew had already eluded the TV schedulers, though Newcastle’s following four games all got picked up by the broadcasters in December.

Newcastle United’s Televised Fixtures in December

Sunday 6th December 2015 – Newcastle United v Liverpool (4pm) Sky Sports

Sunday 13 Dec 2015 – Tottenham v Newcastle United (4pm) Sky Sports

Saturday  19 December 2015 – Newcastle United v Aston Villa (5.30pm) Sky Sports

Friday 26 December 2015 (Boxing Day) – Newcastle United v Everton (5.30pm) BT Sport

By coincidence, Crystal Palace are home to Sunderland in the previous game at Selhurst Park, only a few days before Newcastle visit, but there are plenty of tickets remaining for that Palace v Sunderland encounter.

Palace fans who wanted to buy tickets for the upcoming game with Manchester United, could only do so if they also bought one for either the Newcastle or Sunderland match.

News of the home sell-out will leave Newcastle United fans exiled in the south disappointed, if they were hoping to pick up a ticket by that route.

No news as yet with regards to what Newcastle’s away allocation for the Crystal Palace match will be, or when they go on sale, we will bring you details nearer the time.
