After the final whistle at St James Park on Saturday afternoon, we asked you for your Newcastle v Watford player ratings.

Supporters rated all 14 players used and from that there is generated the overall supporter marks for every player.

Your man of the match (fan ratings as at 6pm on Sunday afternoon – see below) was Daryl Janmaat, who took it upon himself to be Newcastle’s sole creative player, as well as being pretty much the only one to bother the keeper.

Janmaat scored 7.2 in the fan ratings, with Chacel Mbemba (Mangulu – his surname!) next best, way back on 5.5.

Third highest was Ayoze Perez with only 4.6, showing the gulf between Daryl Janmaat and the rest of the team.

At the other end of the spectrum, Papiss Cisse was rock bottom with a feeble 1.7, with Massadio Haidara having a similar nightmare and chasing him on a 2.3.

Captain Coloccini wasn’t going to be left out after his dismal display, scoring a 2.6.

This follows up his bottom placing with 2.2 at West Ham.

Tim Krul was the only other one from the starting eleven who managed 4 or better, though subs Siem de Jong and Rolando Aarons just about managed that.

Next up we can look forward to Chelsea and Manchester City in the Premier League, let’s hope they can surprise us with the ratings…
