Harry Redknapp foresees Steve McClaren’s problems being added to this weekend.

Having correctly predicted West Ham would beat Newcastle on Monday night, the former Hammers boss thinks it will be more of the same today.

Redknapp thinks that Newcastle are low on confidence and won’t even manage a goal against Watford this afternoon, predicting a 1-0 win for the Hornets.

To rub salt into the wounds, Harry  Redknapp says that it won’t even be much of a surprise to neutrals if Newcastle do lose at home to the promoted club.

At the moment there are three clubs, including United, on two points at the bottom of the table.

However, according to the former Spurs boss, Newcastle will see further distance between themselves and the rest of the Premier League, as he has forecast a win for Stoke and Sunderland to pick up a point.

Harry Redknapp writing on Kicca:

‘Bournemouth v Sunderland – 1-1

Home form will be key for Bournemouth this season but this will be another tight game. It won’t be easy for either side but I fancy Defoe to get a goal to get a point for Sunderland.

Newcastle v Watford – 0-1

Newcastle are low on confidence and I can see Watford getting something out of this, not sure it will be much of a shock if they win.

Stoke v Leicester – 1-0

Leicester are flying high at the moment but Stoke away is never an easy match and I’m backing them to get the three points.’
