The local press in the West Midlands claim that Emmanuel Riviere could be in line for a loan move to Wolves.

The Emergency Loan Window remains open until November, allowing clubs below the Premier League to take players for up to three months on loan.

The Express and Star say that Steve McClaren is considering allowing Riviere to go out and get some regular football as he nears a comeback from a knee injury.

The French striker had a shocking debut season in English football managing just one goal all year.

He could do with a confidence boost and playing short-term at a lower level may do him the power of good.

With Mitrovic, Perez and Cisse (when available…) all ahead of Emmanuel Riviere, his options could be limited once he is ready to play again in the coming weeks.
