After the final whistle at Old Trafford on Sunday, we asked you for your Manchester United v Newcastle United player ratings.

Supporters rated all 14(*) players used and from that there is generated the overall supporter marks for every player.

Your man of the match (fan ratings as at 9pm on Sunday night – see below) was Captain Fabricio Coloccini, having his best game for some time.

Next best was keeper Tim Krul, who did well all game and made an outstanding save form Hernandez late on.

Next up we had Coloccini’s partner Steven Taylor, then Mitrovic, Perez and Mbemba all close behind.

Those seen as weak links were Gabriel Obertan and then Jack Colback, next up was Massadio Haidara but with a score of 7.1, he along with the other eight of the starting 11 were seen to have decent to very good games.

(*Apologies – the system that provides the data has missed Thauvin coming on for Obertan in the 69th minute, so the French winger isn’t included).
