The club have unveiled the latest Newcastle away kit.
The strip is confirmed as the one that first did the rounds back in April, with images circulating around social media.
Earlier this week we brought you the news that the shirt had gone on sale in various places around the world but that a UK sale date hadn’t been released yet.
However, the club have now confirmed in their press release that it is now on sale via their club shops, as well as online.
In the patter they have released, it is claimed that the new Newcastle away kit ‘pays homage to the attacking philosophy of the Entertainers era’…
I guess this is like one of those pictures where you are supposed to stare at it and see the hidden image.
Let us know if you can see the ‘paying homage to the Entertainers’ and what your general thoughts are on the new kit in the comments section below.
NUFC Official Release Statement
The new 2015/16 Newcastle away kit has been officially unveiled and is available from club stores.
The ’90s inspired graphic on the shirt offers a different look to the clean lines of the home and third team shirts and pays homage to the attacking philosophy of the ‘Entertainers’ era, when the Club achieved their best ever finish in the Premier League.
The shirt also features subtle print details with the bold new Puma ‘formstripe’ design on the sleeves, which is highlighted with a vivid Hawaiian blue contrast colour stripe.
The new HeiQ fabric is paired with Puma’s groundbreaking ACTV taping technology, which micro-massages specific areas enabling a faster and more effective energy supply to the muscles.
The new away shirt will be worn for the first time at this weekend’s pre-season clash against Borussia Mönchengladbach.
The new Newcastle away kit has coincided with the launch of a new black & white strip which is seen as an alternative for primarily those fans who don’t want to wear W**** and/or not give more cash to Mike Ashley.
