Newcastle United young star Rolando Aarons has made it two goals in two starts for England with this goal against China on Friday, watch the video below.

Aarons had made cameo appearances against both Mexico and the Ivory Coast, but this was his first start since making his debut and scoring in a 6-0 win over Romania back in Septemeber last year.

The Newcastle player made a big impact though against the older Chinese Under 23 side, playing on the left wing, Rolando Aarons beat the opposition right-back time after time.

Making a number of chances for his England teammates, it was Aarons himself who made the breakthrough, scoring from close range a minute before half-time.

England went on to win 3-1 and now go into the 3rd/4th play-off against the USA, whilst France face Morocco in the final.

The main thing for Newcastle fans will be seeing Rolando Aarons safely completing the tournament and then preparing for pre-season with United.

The winger’s previous start for England last September saw him return with the hamstring injury which was the trigger for a season long campaign blighted by injury problems.

The goal shows the big benefit of wingers gambling and getting into the box when your team is attacking down the other flank.
