Papiss Cisse was given a late fitness boost when Police seized his car.
In what clearly looks to be a pre-planned operation, a witness reported that four police cars surrounded the Newcastle striker’s £150,000 Bentley Continental GT, before it was loaded onto a tow truck (see below).
The Daily Star have carried the story as an exclusive and also pictured Papiss Cisse walking away from the scene of the incident which was in the Darras Hall area, close to his home.
Police are reported to have confiscated the car due to Papiss Cisse allegedly not having the correct documents to allow him to drive in the UK.
With fans hoping the striker could play some part against QPR today, hopefully the extra bit of exercise will get Papiss Cisse to peak fitness and also the fresh air help concentrate his mind on the most important thing this weekend – survival for Newcastle United.
