Mark Lawrenson says that whether Newcastle United are relegated or not, they should be held up as an example of how NOT to run a football club.
As to the relegation fight, the BBC pundit thinks that it will b etight but Newwcastle could just survive.
Lawrenson thinks that Newcastle will make it eleven wins without a win but also sees Manchester United denying Hull victory.
However, the former Newcastle United defensive coach predicts 1-1 draws for both matches, which if that is the case will leave a lot of shattered nerves by 5pm on Sunday.
Hull v Man Utd
Hull need a win to have any chance of staying up, but I just do not see them getting one against Manchester United.
The Tigers had their chances against Tottenham last week but could not get a goal and ended up being beaten. That could be the story of their season.
I am really surprised to see them facing the drop because Steve Bruce is a really good manager.
If they do go down, I think he will stay and he has got a good record of getting teams promoted to the top-flight, including Hull in 2013 of course.
Newcastle v West Ham
Newcastle need to win to guarantee they will stay up. I don’t see that happening but I think they will stay up because Hull won’t beat Manchester United.
Whether they beat the drop or not, I think people should look at the Magpies as an example of how not to run a football club.
