John Carver says that he knows he can be successful at Newcastle United but just needs the ‘tools’ to do it.
The temporary.permanent Newacstle Head Coach says that despite only 2 wins in 14 matches he is enjoying the job, even though seem people might find that a little strange.
Pardew’s former assistant also claims that despite the poor results he is getting the best out of the current group of players…
Carver has been talking a lot about all the great players Mike Ashley has promised him that will be brought in this summer, so two questions to answer for starters.
Will Ashley provide the cash for the ‘tools’ and will John Carver be entrusted to ‘do the job’?
This was the question John Carver was asked at the pre-Spurs press conference and the answer that he gave:
‘You said this was your dream job, is it how you imagined it?’
“No, because I wanted to win every game.
“It’s something that I have enjoyed and that I am enjoying, You might think I am a little strange by saying that but the hardest thing is trying to pick yourself up after a defeat.”
Just need the tools:
“I take it personally but I am a professional and I have to get on with it, I know I can do the job, I just need the tools.
“I think I’m getting the best out of the group of people we have got.”
