He may not have had a great end product over the course of this season but Remy Cabella is in the top 10 most fouled players in the Premier League.
Eden Hazard tops the list after beig brought down 94 times this season, whilst the Newcastle midfielder is in tenth place with 49.
However, Remy Cabella has only started 17 of the 32 Premier League matches so far, with another 10 appearances from the bench.
So in terms of time on the pitch, Cabella would porbably only have Hazard and Sterling ahead of him.
With Newcastle generally hopeless on set-pieces, free-kicks have produced very little for United this season.
Hopefully with Ryan Taylor in the team now, a goal or two could still come in these remaining half dozen matches.
Cabella has been a disappointment but with the weight of expectation in producing creativity almost solely down to him, it is little wonder he has struggled.
With so few NUFC players willing to take their man on, Remy Cabella needs to be encouraged to do this as often as possible, but more players committed forward would be a big help as United play so negatively under John Carver it isn’t hard for the opposition to take care of the minimal numbers getting forward.
