Remy Cabella is expected to return to training this week and be available for Sunday’s match at Everton.
With few other options in United’s small squad, John Carver is expected to throw the Frenchman straight back in to hopefully provide some creativity.
With Papiss Cisse suspended for the next seven games, Remy Cabella will need to improve on his record of only one goal and one assist since his arrival at St. James’ Park.
Cabella turned 25 on Sunday and returned the love to all the Newcastle fans who sent him messages.
Using his Twitter account to post:
“I thank everybody for the nice messages. I send you all kisses.”
As well as Remy Cabella’s inclusion, you would expect that Ayoze Perez will be another no-brainer to return as well in Cisse’s absence.
With Riviere, Ameobi and Obertan all struggling to show anything going forward, so much rests on Perez and Cabella as United approach this tough run of matches.
