Daryl Janmaat, Ayoze Perez and Moussa Sissoko are all being targeted for summer moves.

Sissoko is being watched by a number of clubs, while Liverpool are considering making a bid for Janamaat and Perez is interesting both Arsenal and Manchester United.

The claims are made by the Chronicle and they repeat the line of Newcastle United not being easy sellers under Mike Ashley.

However, the reverse of that is we have also been regularly told that every player has his price.

With Newcastle relying on an ever smaller group of players to hold the team together, the risk of losing three of United’s best four or five (along with Cisse and Colback?) outfield players could prove catastrophic.

It is all very well the Chronicle talking about a lot of new players coming in this summer but even if that happens AND they are decent, not many players hit the ground running and especially those from abroad need time to adapt to the Premier League to have any chance.

Once again, the only way any club can progress is by keeping their best players and adding similar quality, whilst getting rid of those who aren’t good enough.
