Newcastle United have more goalscorers in the Premier League this season than any other club apart from Arsenal, but what does it all mean?
That Remy Cabella strike at Hull and the Yoan Gouffran goals rush of recent weeks have sent United up to second in this table.
Altogether, Newcastle have thirteen different league goalscorers this season, with Papiss Cisse and Ayoze Perez weighing in with 14 between them, while the other 15 are spread around 11 different players.
Cisse (9), Perez (5), Sissoko (2), Ameobi (2), Colback (2), Gouffran (2), Aarons (1), Cabella (1), Coloccini (1), Janmaat (1), Obertan (1), Williamson (1), Steven Taylor (1)
You can hardly claim that it is the number of goals overall that are responsible, seen as the likes of Arsenal at the top have scored 15 more and Chelsea in third have 23 extra.

I think the stats show that at least up to a point Newcastle are getting extra players a little more into the box but having not a single midfielder/winger with more than two goals is a serious weakness.
As of course is having another out and out goalscorer to get goals regularly, there has been a big element of luck that Papiss Cisse has scored so many goals from so few chances – becoming the top Premier League goalscorer in terms of minutes per goal this season.
As Saturday at Hull showed thoug,h with all three goals and especially Sammy’s 35 yarder – the name of the game is having a shot, if you don’t buy a ticket you don’t win the…
