Frank de Boer would consider leaving Ajax but it depends on which Premier League club asks him.

Newcastle were heavily linked with de Boer in January but he made it clear that he would stay in Amsterdam at least until the end of the season.

This morning though his brother Ronald was talking on Talksport about the big interest in Holland with Ronald Koeman and Louis van Gaal working in England, when asked if Frank is likely to join them, his brother said:

“I am 90 per cent certain that he will stay at Ajax.

“It all depends on which club is going to come and ask him.

“He doesn’t have to go though, he is very happy at Ajax.”

It appears quite clear that Frank de Boer is interested in working in the Premier League and quite handy that he’s got his brother who can get the message out there for him…

However, I’d be amazed if the Ajax boss has any interest in Newcastle with the way the club is under Ashley, when doing TV interviews in January de Boer was very animated when talking about being considered for the Liverpool and Spurs jobs in the past, but looked decidedly offhand when asked about United.

De Boer is not the only manager that is attracting summer speculation with Remi Garde and Christophe Galtier being linked yet again with Newcastle in the last 24 hours.
