Let’s have a look at the Newcastle team we could have had.

Could Mike Ashley and Alan Pardew have built a team of contenders?

newcastle teamPutting  aside the ‘selling players to make funds’ movement Mr Ashley currently resides in, could Ashley and Pardew truly have built a team worthy of Champions League football?

With Graeme Carr’s helping hand in transfer dealings obviously, we’ve brought in some real talent from around the world;

Coloccini, Cabaye, Ba, Cissé, Ben Arfa, Santon, Tiote, Debuchy, Yanga-Mbiwa, Sissoko, De Jong (Siem), Cabella, Janmaat, Riviere.

Combined with talent through the academy; Krul, Forster, Saylor, Carroll, Dummett, Campbell, Armstrong, S. Ameobi.

Is there a top side amongst this lot?

Krul (Forster)

Janmaat, Coloccini, Yanga-Mbiwa, Santon (Debuchy, Saylor, Dummett)

Sissoko, Cabaye, Tiote, Ben Arfa (De Jong , Cabella, Sameobi)

Ba, Cisse (Riviere, Carroll, Campbell, Armstrong)

Would be interesting if this team was firing on all cylinders where they would have ended up (without the likes of MYM and Cissé being ‘Pardewed’)?

What would happen with someone like KK or SBR in charge of this team?

All I can do it stare out the window and wonder…

What do you think?
