French clubs want to take young Newcastle player on loan
It is reported across the Channel that two French clubs are keen to take young Newcastle player Olivier Kemen on loan until the end of the season.
Arriving as a sixteen year old from Metz in 2013, Olivier Kemen turns nineteen in July and is still to get a taste of first team action.
The two French clubs said to be interested in taking the midfielder are Moussa Sissoko’s old club Toulouse and Valenciennes.
L’equipe say that Championship side Charlton have also enquired about a loan arrangement for the rest of this campaign.
Olivier Kemen has captained the French Under 19 team and is desperate for first team action to progress his career and despite playing a weakened team at Leicester, Newcastle still didn’t include the young midfielder in the eighteen players on duty.
A loan deal must surely be on the cards in both Newcastle United and Olivier Kemen’s interests.
