Breaking News: John Carver to be named as Newcastle Head Coach

Breaking news this afternoon, John Carver is to be named as the new Newcastle head coach.

With the Chronicle welcomed back into the fold at St. James’ Park, it looks as though they have replaced Sky Sports as the preferred means of getting news out to the public.

NCJ journalist Lee Ryder clearly being tipped the wink and tweeting;

“NUFC due to name John Carver as head coach until May.”

Carver himself had said that he expected a decision to be made in the period between the defeat to Southampton and the following match at Hull this coming Saturday.

Despite most of the candidates touted for the job being out of work at the minute, it appears that Newcastle are going to go with John Carver at least until May.

With a week left of the transfer window can we expect the club now to leap into action and help the caretaker/new head coach with some added quality, after four matches so far under Carver without a win?
