The season that should have been ours, well it was actually in everything but being crowned champions.

Newcastle had set off an unbelievable run, blazing a trail early in the season to go twelve points clear at one stage. Manchester United began to edge closer and everything was set up for a pivotal clash at St.James’ Park.

History tells us that Newcastle lost this particular battle (the match) and subsequently the war (the Title) but how did the fans react in the aftermath.
